HILTON HOTEL LA PERLA IONICA -CAPO MULINI SICILY

TRDL were commissioned for the remodelling and development of the Perla Ionica hotel on the Mediterranean shoreline at the foot of Mount Etna near Catania Sicily as a new 5 star Hilton Hotel and Conference Centre. The building had to be stripped back to structure and completely re-finished, working with local fashion designer Marella Ferrera , the design elaborated on local materials and natural rock textures found in the lava rocks and natural patterns of Sicilian lace and ARCHAEOLOGICAL ARTEFACTS.
