TRDL were invited to liaise with UK based ID company Muzalab on the rebranding of the Fairmont Towers Luxury Hotel in Cairo Heliopolis to be the first Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Africa. The hotel already had a reputation as a luxury 5 star hotel in operation for 15 years, and many life-cycle issues had to be considered in the upgrade to make a CONTEMPORARY luxury hotel that would have a long life span. The renovation involved many technology upgrades renovating water FEATURESand adding a new spa and fitness suite. TRDL CONTINUED TO WORK alongside ID company Upperworth Studios on final design and implementation on site, and DESIGN MANAGED the contract.
